A new composition came into being: “Circles on the water” for harpsichord and strings. Bartosz composed this piece thinking about special concert of the Unplugged Orchestra conducted by Michal Smigielski, and solist – Olga Paciej (harpsichord). This composition will be recorded in April in Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. It will be possible to listen to it on this website soon.Doctor of musical arts degree

Wronika Grozdew-Kolacinska invited Bartosz to join in her new recording project as an arranger and composer. Bartosz started to work on his new arrangements of the Karol Szymanowski’s vocal compositions. The Songs of Kurpie will have a new, etno-instrumental arragments in which there will be a lot of etnic instruments mixed with classic sound and white voices. This project will join famous polish instrumentalists, like Maria Pomianowska (fidel), Marta Maslanka (dulcmer), Weronika Grozdew (white vocal), Wojciech Pulcyn; and traditional instrumentalists playing in strings orchestra, piano, classic voices and percussion. All arragments will be recorded in Polish Radio in march 2011, together with a new composition Etnia, composed by Bartosz thinking about musicians of this project.More Articles...
